Fundamental Elements’ new brand of soul and pop/rock mixed with tight, high-energy live performances, catchy song writing and remarkable musicianship, is making people take notice.
Praised as one of the most promising and talented bands to come out of St. Louis, the band builds its foundation on the incredibly tight rhythm section formed by brothers Luke and Mark DeJaynes. Joe McGill’s high-energy guitar playing and Dustin Burggraaf’s rich keyboard work add another mesmerizing dimension. But it’s lead singer Russ Mohr’s captivating voice, coupled with his tasteful trumpet lines, that truly gives the band its soul.
Drawing comparisons to artists such as Stevie Wonder, Maroon 5, and Jamie Lidell, Fundamental Elements consistently awe crowds across America. The band’s ever-growing resume of accomplishments includes pairings with the likes of Rihanna, Matisyahu, Ozomatli, Bob Schneider, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Three 6 Mafia, The John Popper Project, The Spin Doctors, Matt Wertz, and Will Hoge (among others).
